What have you done

opening up a door

into the future 

into the past

it is a crazy act 

haven’t you been told

that the consequences 

of time-travel

in any direction

are poorly understood.

What kind of recklessness

would cause you to 

bang open the doors

into the four-dimensional

space time 

to where they arrive

at a manifold landing

like that of a staircase. 

I suppose we are already

interwoven

in several dimensions

so why not bend 

the fabric of the continuum 

around us

and keep moving 

so that we can experience

the slowing of time 

until every heartbeat 

is an eternity.
