Vision

The gift

is seeing a vision 

that no one can replicate

and like a kiss

the moment of seizing it

is unrepeatable 

that is why we 

experience ecstasy 

because we know

that the second is 

gone forever

and yet 

it will always be with us

until the light

leaves our eyes

go down on your knees

to thank the gods 

that you can break apart

the light and the darkness

no other human

no other magic user 

will be able 

to trap the light in the mirror

say the words

draw the sigils

to mimic your sorcery

because the 

source of your strength

comes from the 

deep places within you

body and soul

and cannot

be counterfeited

by another.
