Eating the Patriarchy

If you believe that 

this world order

this synchronized 

forced march 

which sets us apart 

from one another

can be good

then you have been 

deceived

even for the privileged

the power holders

it is a weapon of destruction 

that shreds the wholeness 

of both sides 

it wounds the wielder

and the act of using it

is an act of desperate terror 

for once gripped

it cannot be relinquished 

only in tenderness 

the kindness of the 

shielding arm 

the body moved between 

victim and aggressor

the breach filled with

the disciples of restoration 

who set themselves as a wall 

before the darkness

will the feast at the table of tyranny

be overset.
