that we have a debt

first to ourselves 

to make what is 

inside of us

for our own healing 

and then to help 

one another 

like every 

expression of love

teaching 

refills the vessel

the more that you have

poured out from it

sharing your talents 

to interpret 

the spread of waters

is like no other gift

every stepping stone

you show to me

I will transmute 

before your eyes

with a new kind of light

you won’t be 

diminished

the beauty of the world

like the tide

to lift us together.
