Torii Gate
The Torii gate
marks
where the sacred
touches its lips
to the mundane
it is the barrier
between worlds
namely
the place I have been
looking for.
Always
I have been
hoping for a way through
into the world
that I read about
in all the stories
where will is enough
to change
matter.
If I could fold walls
and open doors
with a glance
then I would change
the course of rivers
and maybe
that would be
enough.
Bending your desires
through ensorcellment
may be forbidden
but I am told
that I would do it
anyway
within a few hours.
And who knows me
better than my
co-workers
when it comes to
giving in to
temptation.
